Taj Usha Kiran Palace, the over a century old palace of the Maratha dynasty in Gwalior, unveils its majestic transformation following an extensive restoration.
Dating back to 1880, the reimagined palace stands as a testament to Gwalior’s regal heritage and exceptional musical legacy, offering a unique blend of contemporary comfort and a storied past.

Built by Maharaja Jayaji Rao Scindia of the Maratha dynasty, this illustrious landmark has borne witness to centuries of history, hosting royalty and dignitaries from around the world.
The palace’s 50 spacious rooms and suites transcend time, offering a glimpse into an era of nobility and splendour. Rightfully named after the first light of the sun, the rooms set in nine acres of sun-drenched gardens are adorned with intricate filigree work and jaali-inspired arches which let natural light to flow in.
