Sinclairs Hotels Posts Q2 FY25 PAT at Rs. 2.24 Cr

Sinclairs Udaipur has commenced operations from 31st October 2024

Sinclairs Hotels Ltd. has posted a Total Income of Rs. 1181.69 lakh (Rs. 1031.46 lakh) and EBIDTA of Rs. 450.21 lakh (Rs. 294.69 lakh) for the quarter ended 30th September 2024. Profit Before Tax was Rs. 299.81 lakh as against Rs. 135.52 lakh in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, while Profit After Tax for the quarter stood at Rs. 224.24 lakh as against Rs. 127.06 lakh in the previous year.

For the half year ended 30th September 2024, the Company posted a Total Income of Rs.3124.84 lakh (Rs.3214.49 lakh) and EBIDTA of Rs. 1482.44 lakh (Rs.1581.76 lakh). Profit Before Tax for the period stood at Rs. 1203.89 lakh as against Rs.1262.86 lakh in the corresponding six months of the previous year, while Profit After Tax for the period was Rs. 909.05 lakh as against Rs.974.69 lakh in the previous year.

During the first six months of the current fiscal, the movement of tourists to the Company’s properties at Darjeeling, Kalimpong and Gangtok were affected on account of intermittent landslides and road closures in the region.

The Company commenced operations at ‘Sinclairs Udaipur’ on 31st October 2024. The 56-room boutique property located in the heart of Udaipur shall serve both business and leisure travellers. The initial response is encouraging, and the guests have given high rating to the property.

Work at another new property ‘Sinclairs Palace Retreat Udaipur’ is progressing fast and it is expected to be operational soon. The property located in the outskirts of Udaipur, is spread over five acres of landscaped land and has 90 rooms and five cottages, an ornate 7000 sq ft banquet hall, swimming pool, multi-cuisine vegetarian restaurant. The Company plans to offer ‘end-to-end’ solutions for weddings. It is also ideal for large conferences, events and family holidays.
